What to Expect

At The Barn at Klines Mill, we know your wedding day should reflect your unique personality and style. Our venue offers affordable rates and flexible rental options so that you have more money to go toward your other needs for your wedding day. customize every detail, from your ceremony setup to reception décor. Whether you envision a charming outdoor ceremony or a stylish indoor celebration, we’re here to help you bring your vision to life. 

 

We also know that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming so throughout the planning stages to the final “I do,” our mission is to ensure you feel supported and cared for every step of the way.  With us, you’ll enjoy access to our experienced professional team who are ready to be of help as well as having a venue that includes many things others charge extra for.  Our goal is for your wedding day to reflect your love story in the way you envision.

All Barn Rentals Include

  • (2) Parking Attendants to direct guest parking; our parking area is large enough to accommodate multiple charter buses.

  • Use of venue china place settings for reception dinner service is included at no charge for the pieces..  Place settings include dinner plates, flatware, beverage glasses for dinner.  See below for details on the labor cost of hand washing/ sanitizing, and hand polishing of the pieces after your event.

    • The venue will handle the set up of your place settings when using our china. 

    • There is a labor fee assessed for our staff handling the hand washing/ sanitizing/ hand polishing of all pieces used for service. The number of guests determines how long it will take our staff to complete this.  We will initially base the cleaning cost on your invited number of guests with the understanding that we will make necessary adjustments once your final guest count is turned in.

    • Disposable appetizer/ dessert plates/ appetizer napkins/ disposable dessert forks, disposable cups for general beverage service & bar to be provided by the client or their caterer.

  • Choice of White or Ivory half drop table cloths (napkins are not included due to each couple wanting something different). Venue will place table cloths on tables.

  • Venue will handle set up and tear down of ceremony chairs.

  • Venue will handle arranging your reception tables and chairs according to the floor plan.

  • Venue handles drafting of the floor plan.

  • Central air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. 

  • All chairs needed for hosting your event (up to 500 chairs). Chairs are solid wood in a natural maple tone. All chairs are padded.

  • All tables needed for your event (12 custom made farmhouse tables, rectangular banquet tables, 60” round tables, cocktail tables). Farmhouse Tables MUST be utilized for guest seating. They do not collapse and are too large to “store”.

  • Beautiful hand-hewn custom-built bar.

  • 2 Decorative Wine Barrels

  • Teak & Wine Barrel Cake Table

  • Farmhouse Display Table 

  • Outdoor Patio Area with Seating

  • Sitting Room

  • Lawn Games— Corn Hole, Ladder Ball, Giant Connect 4, Lawn Jenga, Lawn Dominoes, Lawn Dice. 

  • (2) Portable fire pits for your guests to enjoy. We supply the wood and load the fire pits for no additional charge.  We or your caterer will light the pits at dusk.

  • Use of our wooden indoor arch if the weather is inclement

  • Bistro string lights (aka Edison lights) adorn the high ceiling area of the barn’s interior and outline the perimeter of the dining area. This lighting plays beautifully off of the decorative real tin ceiling tiles. All lighting throughout the main rooms of the venue are on dimmers.

  • Spacious well-appointed restrooms prevent long lines located in the hallway away from the main reception room.

  • The large onsite kitchen allows the venue to easily accommodate every style of meal service. Kitchen offers a commercial ice machine, two door commercial refrigerator, electric range with oven, large 3 basin sink, and flat work surfaces.

  • All food must be prepared and provided by licensed and insured professionals.  You are welcome to use the provider of your choosing. We are happy to talk with you about options should you have any questions.

  • If you opt for drop off or pick up catering instead of full-service catering, you are required to make arrangements for our staff to handle the service for your event.  We can also provide bartending services for you if needed.  Please let us know if you need staffing or bartending so that we may provide you with pricing.
