This is the home that started it all...built by the Early family after they relocated to Virginia in 1994. The Farmhouse is situated right beside The Barn at Kline’s Mill and offers rolling valley views. This home is ideal for the bridal party to stay together since it is a quick stroll across the grass to the barn. The Early Farmhouse sleeps a total of 9 guests. There is a two-night minimum stay.
Staying at the Farmhouse

This home is ideal for the bridal party to stay together since it is a quick stroll across the grass to the barn. The Early Farmhouse sleeps a total of 9 guests. There is a two-night minimum stay.
This is a beautiful spacious farmhouse with a wrap around porch, reclaimed wood beams throughout the interior, hand crafted furniture, antiques, comfortable bedrooms, and lots of indoor and outdoor space. The upstairs level has four bedrooms which includes an enormous master bedroom with a beautiful king size bed and large master bathroom. Bright windows are present throughout the home to provide a sunny feel as well as beautiful views. Plenty of parking on site and lots of outdoor areas to sit and entertain.
Couples renting our venue enjoy a discounted rental rate of $400.00 per night with a one time $200.00 cleaning fee. There are no additional "extra person" fees.

Farmhouse- "Day of Use"
We realize that some couples won't need our farmhouses for weekend lodging but they will need a convenient comfortable location for themselves and their bridal party to get ready and for their immediate family members to gather for photography.
For these reason, we to have our Early Farmhouse available for "Day of Use". Since the Farmhouse is located across the lawn from the barn, our couples can easily stay looped in on set up and vendor arrival. Our home, porch, and front lawn are beautiful locations for First Look and other pre-Ceremony photography.

The rate is $250.00 plus tax.

Access STARTING AT 9AM

Access ends PROMPTLY at 8PM. No exceptions. All personal items, food & drink, and trash are to be removed by this time. You may take your items on to your cars or set them outside of the door on the porch for you to gather at the end of the event.

Most couples appoint their planning team, members of their bridal party, or friends/ family members who aren't in the wedding to handle this.

The removal of these items is not the responsibility of the property owners nor will they accept any liability for handling this. The property owners are not liable for any items that are misplaced, missing in general, or lost. They are not liable for what may or may not happen to items set out on the porch so it is recommended that everything be placed in vehicles and locked.

Hosts must notify the venue of who will be handling this prior to the date of the event. If it is to be handled by a friend or family member not in the wedding party, the owner will need to be provided with a picture of the individual (s) or be introduced to them in order to know who they are should they need to locate them to offer a reminder that it is close to the time for these items to be removed.

Use of the entire main floor and the upstairs. This includes the Great Room, Living Room, Sitting Room, Kitchen, Downstairs Bathroom, Upstairs Hallway Bathroom, Master Bedroom & Bathroom,, and the 3 additional upstairs bedrooms.

The Great Room is recommended for the ladies to get ready in as it has plenty of space for dresses, the gown, all the ladies, all the hair stylists/ make up artists, and plenty of access to power outlets.

It is recommended men get ready upstairs away from where the ladies are.

Hosts may bring in sandwich platters, veggie/ fruit trays, and canned/ bottled beverages for those getting ready to enjoy. Hosts will need to provide disposable plates/ cups/ napkins/ trash bags, etc as needed.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOSTS TO ASSURE SOMEONE FROM THEIR EVENT IS APPOINTED TO CLEAN THIS UP PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY STARTING AS IT IS THE PRIMARY FAMILY KITCHEN OF THE PROPERTY OWNERS. THIS INCLUDES WIPING DOWN COUNTERS SO THEY ARE FREE OF FOOD SPILLS, ETC.

Everyone is to arrive already showered. There is to be no use of any of the bathtubs, showers, personal bath towels, etc when opting for a "Day of Use" rental.

Please refrain from going through the owners' personal property which includes drawers, closets, hutches, cabinets, etc. If you need something, please ask the property owners; they'll be happy to help.

Date Retainer equal to 50% of the rental plus tax is due to secure the rental. Final payment is due at the same time final venue payment is due (60 days prior to event hosting date).
